Ingredients

500 grams of Chickpeas

3 Garlic cloves

5 milliliters of Lemon juice

3 tablespoons of Tahini sauce

1 teaspoon of Baking soda

½ tablespoon of Cumin

½ tablespoon of Ground pepper

Olive oil

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : Soak the chickpeas for 24 hours with a teaspoon of salt and baking soda.

Step 2 : Then, rinse and place them in a pot with water and a tablespoon of salt, cooking for about 35 to 40 minutes.

Step 3 : Once cooked, drain and reserve half a cup of the cooking water.

Step 4 : In a food processor, add the cooked chickpeas, 3 garlic cloves, juice of half a lemon, half a teaspoon of cumin, and 3 tablespoons of tahini.

Step 5 : Blend all ingredients, slowly adding the reserved water until achieving a thick consistency.

Step 6 : To serve, sprinkle with ground pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.
