Lamb Stew with Chickpeas

Ingredients

500 grams of Lamb

250 grams of Cooked chickpeas

2 Crushed garlic

1 Chopped onion

1 Chopped carrot

3 Chopped potatoes

3 Peeled tomatoes

2 tablespoons of Ras el hanout spices

1 tablespoon of Ginger powder

1 Bay leaf

1 tablespoon of Cinnamon

500 milliliters of Beef broth

Oil

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The lamb meat is cut into medium-sized pieces.

Step 2 : In a pot over low heat, add 3 tablespoons of oil and place the lamb with a pinch of salt, cooking for a couple of minutes before removing from heat.

Step 3 : Then, in a separate pot, sauté the garlic, onion, carrot, and 2 tablespoons of ras el hanout spices, stirring well.

Step 4 : Add the ginger powder, bay leaf, and cinnamon, then include the peeled tomatoes and chopped potatoes, stirring again.

Step 5 : Next, incorporate the lamb and mix with the other ingredients.

Step 6 : Add 500ml of beef broth, cover the pot, and let it cook for 30 minutes.

Step 7 : After this time, add the cooked chickpeas, mix, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 8 : Finally, remove from heat and serve hot.
