1 Chicken

2 Garlic cloves

1 Onion

150 grams of Almonds

100 grams of Dates

1 tablespoon of Ground saffron

½ tablespoon of Ginger

½ tablespoon of Cinnamon

3 tablespoons of Orange blossom water

5 Mint leaves

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this exquisite dish, start by cutting the chicken into pieces and placing them in a bowl, adding salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2 : Next, finely chop the onion, garlic, and mint.

Step 3 : In a pot with a little olive oil, sauté the garlic and onion, then add the chicken, browning it for a few minutes.

Step 4 : Once the chicken is browned, add a tablespoon of ground saffron and half a teaspoon of ginger, stirring well.

Step 5 : Then, add enough water to cover the chicken, cover the pot, and let it cook for about 30 minutes.

Step 6 : Meanwhile, the dried fruits can be prepared.

Step 7 : The dates are cooked in a skillet with water, cinnamon, and orange blossom water for 15 minutes, then drained and peeled.

Step 8 : On the other hand, the almonds are toasted in a skillet with mint for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 9 : Finally, add the prepared dates and almonds to the chicken, stir well, and cook for an additional 5 minutes before removing from heat.

Step 10 : This delicious dish is served hot and ready to enjoy.
