Ingredients
10 Phyllo dough sheets
150 grams of Pistachios
150 grams of Walnuts
5 tablespoons of Melted butter
150 grams of Tahini sauce
2 tablespoons of Sugar
2 tablespoons of Cinnamon
150 milliliters of Honey
2 tablespoons of Orange peel
2 tablespoons of Lemon peel
250 milliliters of Honey
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the baklawa, first chop or crush the walnuts and pistachios into small pieces, then add cinnamon and sugar.
Step 2 : In a baking dish, brush melted butter and place the phyllo sheets on top.
Step 3 : Next, brush the sheets again with melted butter using a cooking brush, followed by spreading the tahini sauce.
Step 4 : Add the nut and pistachio filling, a spoonful of sugar, and cinnamon.
Step 5 : Then, place 2 more sheets of phyllo dough on top and repeat the process.
Step 6 : Afterward, place the assembled baklawa in the preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes.
Step 7 : While baking, prepare the syrup by simmering honey with orange and lemon peels, stirring occasionally.
Step 8 : Finally, serve the baklawa by drizzling it with the prepared syrup.
