Ingredients
250 grams of Flour
50 grams of Fine semolina
250 milliliters of Milk
200 grams of Sugar
120 milliliters of Sunflower oil
16 grams of Baking powder
8 grams of Turmeric powder
Tahini
Pine nuts
Preparation
Step 1 : Preheat the oven to 180°C to prepare for baking.
Step 2 : In a large bowl, combine the flour, semolina, sugar, and baking powder, mixing well to ensure even incorporation.
Step 3 : Next, add the turmeric powder, stirring to evenly distribute its color and aroma.
Step 4 : Then, slowly add the milk and oil, continuing to mix until you obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.
Step 5 : Generously grease a rectangular baking dish approximately 35 x 28 cm with tahini, covering the entire surface, including the bottom and sides.
Step 6 : Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the surface with a spatula or spoon, ensuring an even layer.
Step 7 : Distribute the pine nuts evenly over the batter to decorate the surface.
Step 8 : Place in the oven and bake for about 35 minutes, or until the surface is firm and lightly golden.
Step 9 : Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes to facilitate slicing.
Step 10 : Finally, cut into small squares or diamonds and serve accompanied by black tea, Arabic coffee, or spiced infusions, enjoying its flavor and texture in a moment of tranquility and Latin American flavor.
