Ingredients

500 grams of Yellow lentils

3 Garlic cloves

2 Carrots

1 Celery

3 Potatoes

100 grams of Parsley

100 grams of Cilantro

1 tablespoon of Cumin

½ tablespoon of Black pepper

½ tablespoon of Oregano

5 milliliters of Lemon juice

Oil

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe, first finely chop the onion, garlic, carrots, celery, potatoes, parsley, and cilantro.

Step 2 : Then, in a skillet with hot oil, sauté the onions with the garlic and add the other chopped vegetables: carrots, potatoes, and celery.

Step 3 : Mix well and sauté.

Step 4 : Next, add black pepper, parsley, cumin, and oregano to the sauté and continue to mix for a few minutes before removing from heat.

Step 5 : In a pot, place the lentils and then the prepared sauté, stirring very well.

Step 6 : Add water until covering the lentils and cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.

Step 7 : To serve, add a little lemon juice and some sprigs of cilantro.
